The RFML Pool Rules Sign

You know how every pool has a sign that says really useful stuff like: don't run, try not to drown, stop swimming if there's lightning, etc?  Well, here's the Rants from MommyLand version of that sign:

You may also want to read our innapropriate and tasteless open letters to adults, teenagers and small children on proper pool etiquette.

  1. Excellent. Just excellent. :)

  2. Truly awesome. Love the lifeguard rule. I have seen many a parent completely ignore their kids at the pool, assuming other parents or the lifeguard will watch them. Jackholes indeed. :)

  3. Bwahahaha!! I just love these!! They fit so neatly in our pool too so it's obviously a country-wide epidemic of ignorance and not just here.

I hate the moms who sunbathe in their too small bikini with their boobs hanging out (because let's face it you just don't have it anymore) and ignore their 1 year old, because our pool's toddler area is NOT enclosed so those kids can go anywhere in the whole pool. That includes the deep pool with the diving board and slide. *sigh*

I get SO tired of babysitting 10 kids that I end up just hating going to the pool with MY OWN kids.

I always take a book or a magazine but I never get to crack it open. You'd think I'd learn since they always get wet anyway.

  4. Excellent! Now all I need to do is to get my pool to put one of those up!

  5. am printing this out, along with the letters, and handing them out to the jackhole offenders at my pool this summer. oh, and we have a lifeguard who totally leaves her son in the toddler pool for the other moms to watch. Care to script a letter to her??

  6. I'm going to print this out and post it on my mom's pool this summer!
