Parenting: Illustrated with Crappy Pictures

Do you guys know about the blog Parenting: Illustrated with Crappy Pictures? It's so awesome and hilarious. It's written by a woman named Amber Dusick who is incredibly sweet and nice. We've exchanged like 6 emails so I can say that with total confidence and authority.

She was also the last blogger to win a certain bad ass award called the Parent's Magazine Funniest Blog of the Year. So when I won it this year, I reached out to her to ask her some stuff and ending up being all weird and like:  "BY THE SECRET CODE OF BLOGGING YOU MUST NOW GIVE ME THE AMULET."


So a couple of weeks ago, her publishing company emailed me and asked if I would review her book. I was like "Oh even yesser!" and I did. My review is right here. You can check out the book on Amazon right here.

Then they sent me 5 books to give away and I was like "YIPPEEE!!" because the book is so funny and sweet and wonderful. You guys will love it. You know I don't usually do reviews or give aways, but this is special. First of all it's books. Second, it's another blogger getting to write a book and live her dream and who wouldn't want to help with that?

PS: I think maybe possibly next week - maybe Monday? - I'm going to be guest posting on Momastery. I have no idea if it's really going to happen but I think so. I'm so excited because you know that Glennon has been my Yoprah (Yoda/Oprah) since before she was famous and I love everything about that blog. So if it happens, I will be spending that day hiding in my bathroom trying not to throw up and being too scared to read the comments.
